A little late in the game, but definitely doable.
Throughout UCLA, I’ve tried to front-load a lot of my classes so I could potentially graduate early. I’ve taken summer classes every year and tried doing 4 classes each quarter. Now I’m at that point where I only need to fulfill 1 more of my psych requirements (my psych lab) and this winter doesn’t offer the course I want. I could definitely just take another psych lab to fulfill my requirement and I’ll be on my way out of here and graduate early. But I really want to make the most of my time at UCLA and have a quarter that I know I will enjoy. My projected study list for my last two quarters:
Winter 2012
Psychology 135 - Social Psychology
Asian American Studies M129 - Health Issues for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders: Myth or Model?
Asian American Studies 133 - Pilipino American Experience
Spring 2012
Psychology 151 - Research Methods in Health Psychology (Psych Lab)
Asian American Studies 121 - Exploring Asian American Theatre
Asian American Studies 120 - Asian American History Through Lens
As you can see there’s a slight trend. I decided that I want to pick up the Asian American Studies Minor since I have done the lower divs for the minor already. Also, I realized how relevant all these classes being offered are to my interests and my future. I do need 1 more AsianAm class to complete the minor so if you have any suggestions for either quarter, let me know! :D
Here’s to a crazy rest of the year. Shit’s getting real.

You should take the winter quarter class with Omatsu! He’s dope! It only meets once a week, and is pretty much focused on leadership development, and understanding social movements. Your midterm and final is to make a comic book! Haha.
